A recent build 85m Expedition Charter/Private MY is on the search for a new chief engineer for an ASAP start in Bali / Komodo
The vessel has a southern hemisphere base and enjoys time in off the beaten track locations spanning from Maldives to Tahiti.
Handover given , experienced rotating chief counterpart , rotating 2nd’s, 3rd engineers ect
The ideal candidate will have chief engineer experience on vessels over 60m+ and interested in joining an active, fun & professional team environment
Start: 2nd September for handover
Rotation: 2:2 + flights
Salary: $11,000 US / month DOE (paid 12)

Position Snapshot
An amazing opportunity has become available for an engineer holding a Y3 or MEC 3 COC to go semi shore based on a soon to arrive 50m private MY into Sydney, Australia
The vessel will be used for private use only, consisting of mostly day / weekend style cruises.
The Chief engineer will have solid engineering backup on this vessel with plenty of engineering support from 2nd and others.
The chief engineer will ideally start prior to November for a handover in Europe before recommencing in Sydney with option for ride along (Optional)
The yacht is very flexible on location, nationality and ability for the chief engineer to commence.
The vessel is also flexible if the chief engineer would prefer to live onboard or ashore.
As the vessel will be foreign flagged, there is the option for sponsorship and could be a unique opportunity for a foreign passport holder to live and work out in Sydney, Australia
The position could also suit an Australian / NZ chief wanting a shore-based existence in one location.
This is a non-rotational role but will be based on 5 day working week with reasonable working hours.
The Ideal Candidate
Start: Before November for handover, fulltime from January 2024
Salary: $175,000-$200,000 AUD + Super (as a recruiter guide, DOE)
