A high profile 92’ foreign flagged MY is on the search for a captain/engineer & stewardess to join their program in Thailand

The vessel is currently taking trips around Phuket & Ko Samui, with the plan to head to the Maldives next year and potential loading towards Europe

Run with 4 crew on charter trips and 2 core fulltime crew for in dock or low-key private trips.

The position is open to couples for the sake of the double captains cabin and requiring the other single berths for balance of crew, however the owner would consider a strong solo captain located near Asia

Previous charter experience will be looked upon favorably with preference for a captain who has done ocean passages

A thorough handover will be given from the Australian captain upon commencement

Position Snapshot

A very unique opportunity has become available for a deckhand and stewardess to be based out of Japan, operating a private fleet of local yachts.

The crew will be based out of Yokohama bayside marina. Kanagawa, Japan and will be given shared crew use of an apartment ashore (only live onboard when cruising)

The deckhand & stewardess will work with the captain & engineer in the operation of a private fleet, that is mostly used for short excursions only around Japanese waters

The fleet is growing and will include a Riva 100, Riva 76 and a Pershing yacht among others.

Bigger yachts and projects in the pipeline and certainly room for role growth.

As the vessels are based in Japan the crew will be paid industry rates (Euro/US equivalent) but in Japanese Yen , with 20% taken out for local tax

There is also the opportunity to be put through some local Japanese seafarer courses (in English) to meet manning requirements

Guests are both Japanese and English speaking and all English-speaking crew.

The position offers a unique opportunity to undertake a yachting cultural adventure.

Ideally a couple would suit to compensate the lack of yachting community in Japan that is standard in Europe / States

Salary: Industry Equivelent paid in Japanese Yen
