An amazing opportunity has become available for an engineer holding a Y3 or MEC 3 COC to go semi shore based on a high profile 50m private MY in Sydney, Australia
The vessel is low use and is used for private trips only, consisting of mostly day / weekend style cruises.
The Chief engineer will have solid engineering backup on this vessel with plenty of engineering support.
Ideally starting within 4 weeks for a handover with the outgoing chief engineer
The yacht is very flexible on location and nationality and will consider engineers worldwide.
The vessel is also flexible if the chief engineer would prefer to live onboard or ashore in Sydney
The vessel has the option for sponsoring a foreign engineer and therefore could be a unique opportunity for a foreign passport holder to live and work out in Sydney, Australia
The position could also suit an Australian / NZ chief engineer wanting a shore-based existence in one location.
This is a non-rotational role but will be based on 5 day working week with reasonable working hours.

Salary: $180,000-$200,000 AUD + Super / Year (as a recruiter guide, DOE)
