5 day working week, 2 days off. Working the weekends and public holidays.

o Engage with prospective and existing customers to identify their specific boat insurance needs.

o Educate clients on available coverage options, policy terms, and benefits to ensure informed decision-making.

o Customize insurance solutions to fit the client’s unique circumstances and preferences.

  1. Customer Relationship Management

o Foster long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication, follow-ups, and support.

o Assist with policy renewals, amendments, and other services to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

o Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

 

  1. Policy Management and Compliance

o Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal teams to support policy issuance and maintenance.

o Ensure all customer interactions, policy documents, and sales activities are documented in the appropriate systems.

 

  1. Market Awareness and Product Knowledge

o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the boat and marine insurance market, including competitor products and services.

o Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry trends to better advise clients and enhance sales approaches.

o Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance product expertise and sales effectiveness.

A very high profile 40m private MY is on the search for an experienced deckhand to join their team of 7.

The vessel is used every 2-3 months for a 2-week trip , when the owner is in town from their overseas residence.

Any extended trips over the December / January period, crew are usually rotated out every 2nd week.

The deckhand will work under an experienced 1st officer and will occasionally step up to relieve on extended trips.

The deckhand will gain experience on a variety of tenders and be involved in the full scope of deck operations.

The yacht is also happy to sign off OOW competencies or other relevant task books

As the owner resides overseas, vessel trips are known well in advance and therefore very little standby is required, allowing crew to plan their lives ashore.

The chief stewardess will lead a fulltime 2nd stewardess across both service and housekeeping, providing an exceptional level of service to the owner and occasional guests.

A high profile 42m private MY is on the search for a 1st mate to join their professional program

The yacht maintains a permanent base in Sydney for 8-9 months / year but travels out to the South Pacific Islands or Whitsundays

Foreign flagged the yacht is open to candidates with AMSA or MCA certification and is only used within a private capacity.

The vessel has a fun and professional crew who have done their time on superyachts overseas.

The 1st Mate will manage a deckhand (by example) while also acting as a good back up to the captain, assisting with navigation, bridge watches & the yachts administration tasks

The owners operate a big budget and the vessel is run appropriately always operating to a very high standard

The yacht operates with a full-time interior of 3 + casuals for larger events, with duties shared across both service and housekeeping.

There is a fun and professional crew dynamic on-board this yacht and the successful candidate must be active, energetic and serious about developing their service skills in the interior

Someone who enjoys a good team environment is paramount & possessing an excellent fun attitude!

The yacht is open to expressions of interest from the enthusiastic mid-level stewardess to the experienced 2nd / chief who has come off larger yachts overseas, looking for more land base living

Salary will be matched accordingly to the candidate’s level of experience.

Being based in Sydney for most of the year , the vessel offers a terrific work life balance, operating at core 5 day working weeks and causals to cover busy periods in Summer.

Itinerary

Based in the heart of the city, the program will involve both short and extended trips around the Sydney Harbour and Pittwater regions. The yacht will occasionally travel further afield 1-2 times per year with the possibility of Whitsundays, Fiji/Tahiti or Pacific region.

Candidates should be ok with doing roughly 2-3 months away each year

The yacht will also consider applicants worldwide who are interested in relocating to Sydney
