A high profile 38m private MY is after a deckhand that can take the combo as either deck/tender captain or deck/fisherman for the duration of their Whitsundays season.

The owner is very keen on fishing (both line & spear) and would be open to the deckhand accompanying him on excursions from the yacht (optional)

If the seasonal deckhand doesn’t have the fishing skills than someone with good tender driving skills would be the priority.

The vessel is flexible on someone commencing and could take someone now if wanting to start immediately or next month.

The position would run up until November and could go permanent if all went well.

A well run 38m private MY is on the search for their new chief stewardess to join them on their Australian east coast itinerary.

The owner uses the yacht intermittently and fly’s in / out to the various locations it finds itself in.

The guests enjoy being active on the water, fishing / spearfishing & freediving, in addition to dinners onboard and small parties/functions

The crew are fun, active, and adventurous and the team dynamic is extremely important onboard.

The chief stewardess should have a lust for travel and adventure and enjoy life on a travelling vessel

Managing a 2nd stewardess / deck and leading by example to provide an excellent level of service to the owner and guests.

The vessel may look at becoming commercial in the future and offering high end / low guest number charters within Australia & the Pacific

2023 itinerary will be Whitsundays until October / November, Gold Coast, Sydney summer 2023/24

The carpentry experience will take priority, but any other skills or quals ie: Diving / Kitesurfing will also be advantageous

No preferred nationality must be fluent in English.

No couples will be taken so preferably without a partner in the industry.

A high profile 38m private MY based on the west coast Australia is on the search for a Deckhand to join their team for an immediate start

The yacht operates a purely private program consisting of Perth summers & winters around the Kimberley region, however the vessel will be heading around the East Coast from Spring

Managing a deck/stew the Deckhand should be able to lead by example taking full ownership of the decks , whilst still assisting the captain in both bridge watches & potential wheel time.

Interests in diving , fishing , being active, confident in and around the water

No specific ticket is required for manning but someone near or in possession of master 5 / yachtmaster would be highly considered.  

Previous yacht experience is preferred and must be a confident tender driver

The yacht will cruise the east coast including the great barrier reef but will maintain a home port in Sydney between trips away.

Yearly international trip into the Pacific Islands likely, destination unknown but possibly Fiji, Vanuatu or similar

Well established superyacht family with healthy budget, super fun team who have all done their time overseas on Superyachts bringing a high standard onboard

The Deckhand will back up the chief officer on both deck & on the bridge with plenty of opportunity for training and mentoring

The position could suit a deckhand with at least a seasons experience on yachts in Australia/Sydney,  looking for time within a very professional program before hitting the industry overseas in 1.5 years’ time, with a stack of training & references under their belt   !

 The yacht will consider candidates worldwide but will show particular consideration to candidates who have some affiliation with Sydney , due to operational area

The Chief Stewardess should be highly professional with previous superyacht Chief Stewardess experience and time on reputable charter yachts

The yacht is couple friendly and will consider a Chief Stewardess partnered with an experienced engineer holding III/3 or Y3

Joining in NZ on the 1st March 2023, the Chief Stewardess will assist with getting the interior ready for the busy charter season ahead,  with the aim to be underway to Tahiti Late March

Must be willing to commit to 12 months onboard
