A well run 34m private MY is on the search for a lead deckhand to join their team.

The yacht is used for private trips only , usually for small guests numbers, mostly odd weekend trips.

The vessel operates a 12m chase tender that the deckhand will be responsible for driving.

The deckhand must have good small vessel handling skills and be across deck maintenance products and vessel upkeep.

 

The vessel can accommodate male or female deckhand candidates and would also be open to an experienced deck/stew looking for more time on deck

 

Ability to undergo daywork as a trial before committing to fulltime / permanent.

 

Will also consider a fulltime seasonal contract , starting now and going through until March 2025 (if the deckhand is looking to head to Europe)

A high profile 32m private expedition yacht is on the search for sole chef to join their adventurous program.

 

The yacht is run with a fulltime crew of 5/6 and the chef will cater for both guests and crew.

 

The yacht has a terrific reputation , with both personable / friendly / accommodating owners and fun / adventurous / professional crew dynamic.

 

The owner fly’s in/out on various locations with good down time in-between for R & R and re-provisioning

 

Vessel movement plans over the next 12 months- 

Joining in FNQ, with some local trips around the reef, Carins, East Coast, Whitsundays, then coming down East Coast for summer to Melbourne (possibly Tasmania) onto New Zealand for tail end of summer and then will travel to the remote Kimberely for 2025

 

The Chef 

“Male or female. Good chef experience is a must! happy team player, fresh Healthy food, fit fun candidate preferred, owner loves his seafood, one of his sons is Allergic to Sesame products as well as most nuts so they must be happy and able to run a galley without those ingredients while he is onboard.”

Must be well organised, can provision accurately for longer trips, must be able to maintain clean workstation and organised stores. Generally diverse culinary range , will have good influence over menu selection suiting owners tastes

 

The Particulars

Full time position (12 months)

110-130k pa + super DOE/Negotiable

4 weeks paid holiday.

1 set of return flights home

A professional 37m private SY is on the search for a seasonal chef to join their team.

The Yacht is scheduled to depart the dock at the beginning of August, make her way up the East coast of Australia, then onto Darwin, and across to Bali, with some cruising in the region in Indonesia, and ending up in Singapore

The owners are American, very nice, and like to be involved in the sailing / schedule

The chef should be easy-going in nature, friendly active crew member and thoroughly enjoys adventure.

Diverse culinary repertoire and can largely cook their strengths, cooking for both crew & guests

Open to chefs worldwide / all nationalities but chefs in the Southern Hemisphere highly considered.

Finish: October/November (pending date reaching Singapore)

Salary:  From > $5000 US / Month DOE (can go up on experience)
