The yacht operates a diverse program spending time in summer in both Sydney and Pittwater. Over Winter the yacht will venture further afield travelling to the Great Barrier reef or onto the islands around the Pacific (Fiji or Tahiti)

 

There is an extremely high standard aboard this yacht and the deckhand must be clean cut and presentable at all times.

 

There is an excellent crew dynamic on board and candidates that can contribute to a happy, positive and professional work environment will be highly regarded.

While the position will involve the usual deckhand duties, the deckhand will also be mentored and trained in more senior responsibilities including bridge watches, anchoring, navigation, seamanship, crane operations, drills and big boat handling.

Salary: Above Australian industry standard and negotiable to secure the right candidate

A high profile 40m Private MY is currently on the search for an enthusiastic and dedicated deckhand to join their team.

The vessel operates along the West Coast of Australia for private trips, that often include a diving and fishing focus.

The Yacht operates a very professional team and the position would suit a deckhand who is serious about progressing both skills and tickets.

The position is live onboard, with preference to candidates that could join from Australia / NZ region.

Preferably male candidates, due to cabins.

Itinerary will range from Perth to the Kimberley and in-between on the West Coast
