Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 dependent on experience
We are seeking a skilled and organised individual to join our team as a nurse/housekeeping/personal assistant. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. You will be working alongside the current Personal Assistant/Registered Nurse to provide care and support for an elderly gentleman. Based mainly in Sydney however travel is a large part of this role. The itinerary for this year is between Fiji, New Zealand and Australia.
Job description
Nursing tasks include:
– Daily obs & skin assessments
– BGL (Libre sensor) & administration of insulin
– Daily head and lower limb massage for circulation
– Application of topical creams
– Monitoring for signs of clinical deterioration and ability to escalate as required
– Weekly medical report for family and treating team
– Assisting primary with mobilisation (SBA)
– Oxygen administration PRN
– Simple wound dressings PRN
Housekeeping/stewardess tasks include:
– Laundry
– Cooking
– Food and general supply provisioning
– Deep/general cleaning of home residence (Sydney)
– Maintaining clean footpaths/entry ways at home residence (Sydney)
– Table preparation and accommodating guests
Personal assistant tasks include:
– Covering coworkers’ days off
– Working alongside coworker with tasks as required including but not limited to:
o Booking flights/transfers/accommodation
o Birthday cards/presents
o Diary management
o Booking dinner/lunch reservations
– Assisting primary with TV/emails/zoom meetings
– Attending social events/reservations with primary
– Liaising with coworker for organising events
