A temp engineer is urgently required for a handover of a recently purchased 23m explorer MY in Marsden Cove New Zealand.
The engineer will do a handover with the previous captain and will begin to make preparations for a delivery to Australia.
The engineer should have sound engineering skills and preferably yacht or commercial engineering experience on ocean passages.
The Engineer will accompany the delivery crew on the passage to Australia
No specific ticket is required and trade qualified engineers are welcome.
The ideal candidate should have immediate availability to commence this week and be located in either NZ or Aus for joining.
Salary: $10,000-$14,000 US / Month DOE + flights
Duration: 3-4 weeks (pending weather/ departure)

The vessel is currently based in Australia with plans for world cruising from Mid-2026, heading into Asia and beyond
The vessel is couples friendly and would consider an engineer partnered with a stew, deck/stew or chef
The vessel is open to sponsoring a foreign engineer interested in working out in Australia

A high profile 50m private MY is on the search for an experienced chief engineer to assist them with a 6-month shipyard period on the Gold Coast
The vessel will be undergoing a paint job, 5 years survey (pulling the rudders/ shafts) and other small jobs on the worklist
The Chief Engineer should have previous superyacht experience and ideally hold a MEC 3 (MED1 minimum) or a Y4/Y3
Plenty of engineering support
Shore-based accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract

A private 35m expedition vessel MY is in need of an engineer for commencement in Feb/March 2026
The position is full-time, without a rotation , however addition down time allocated between owner trips.
The crew are energetic and adventurous who have an interest in surfing, diving, fishing or kiting in the various locations they visit.
The position would suit an experienced AEC engineer who genuinely loves adventure and being active on the water.
The captain is also an experienced engineer and would offer a lot of support to this role.
