$4000-$4500 US / month DOE + flights
Sail Yacht Experience (Essential)
ASAP until Mid-March & April to Mid-May (flights home in between)

A high profile 55m SY is on the search for a deckhand with strong sailing experience to join their program for some ongoing relief.

The deckhand will join in Auckland to assist with basic maintenance whilst in the yard until Mid-March.

After which the vessel will fly the Deckhand home for a few weeks before rejoining the start of April for a delivery to Fiji, with the contract concluding around Mid-May

The ideal candidate will be located in the Aus/NZ region and hail from a strong sailing background, ideally having time on Superyachts

Are you a sailing engineer with a passion for off the beaten track cruising?

Do you hold a minimum of a Y4 (or equivalent)?

A high performance 46m private SY is on the search for an experienced sail yacht engineer to join their fun and professional team.

The yacht is used for private use only, often spending large amounts of time in rarely travelled locations.

The owners thoroughly enjoy watersports (particularly diving), adventurous cruising and exploring.

The chief engineer should have excellent forward thinking in regards to repairs and spares and can come up with solutions when needed

Candidate Requirements:

Y4 COC or equivalent
Previous large sailing yacht experience essential.
Active, adaptable, and intuitive, with the ability to operate effectively in remote cruising grounds.
Comfortable working within a multinational crew environment.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
A hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Start: Flexible (TBC)

Salary: 6000-9000USD p/m DOE

Rotation: 3:3 Months On/Off
