Position Snapshot

A high profile 70m private MY that cruises extensively in the Southern Hemisphere is on the search for a highly professional Sous Chef to join their team.

The chef will ideally come from a very extensive restaurant background, in establishments that are well renowned or holding Michelin stars.

Superyacht experience is advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.

The Sous chef will look after the crew’s food but will also assist the head chef in the guests culinary requirements and should be able to bring an added dimension & flair to the overall strength of the galley.

The vessel will cruise parts of Asia and towards the Seychelles for 2026

Candidates who hail from Australia, New Zealand , Asia regions will be highly considered but happy to fly candidates worldwide

Rotation: 2 Months ON / OFF + flights

Salary: $5500-6500 US (recruiter guide only, TBC by the yacht)

Start: Mid-February

A high profile 40m private MY with a solid long-term crew are on the search for an experienced sole chef to join their professional team

The vessel is used strictly for private use, typically low guest numbers with the occasional high Pax day event.

The owners and crew thoroughly enjoy fishing, diving and being active on the water.

Based out of Western Australia the vessel will cruise the WA coast over the next 12 months with the possibility of the odd international trip.

Previous yacht chef experience is essential however the vessel would entertain a sous chef level candidate wishing to move into a sole / head chef position

Option to start temp and turn into permanent

Salary: $90,000 AUD + Super

Rotation: 1 month on/off
