A 50m private MY is in need of a relief chief engineer for the month of May
Joining in Cairns and delivery to Indo or Solomons. TBC.
The vessel may also have a guest trip over that time doing some diving but not confirmed yet
Dates can be somewhat flexible to join and departure from Australia TBC weather
The Chief Engineer will have the support of a Deck/assistant engineer but will need to be happy and willing to often work alone covering all aspects of the job
9000USD, 7 days accrued leave per month.
Candidates with a visa to join in Australia will be highly considered but also open to organising a visa for the right candidate

A high profile 50m private MY is on the search for an experienced chief engineer to assist them with a 6-month shipyard period on the Gold Coast
The vessel will be undergoing a paint job, 5 years survey (pulling the rudders/ shafts) and other small jobs on the worklist
The Chief Engineer should have previous superyacht experience and ideally hold a MEC 3 (MED1 minimum) or a Y4/Y3
Plenty of engineering support
Shore-based accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract
