A high profile 50m private / charter MY is on the search for a Michelin star level head chef to join their program on their South Pacific Island itinerary.
The vessel will undertake a series of both owner trips and high end charters around the South Pacific Islands for the foreseeable future.
The Head chef will have a Sous Chef / Crew chef at their disposal for all busy charter and owners trips
Note: The vessel will consider candidates world wide however chef candidates with a valid working visa for Australia / NZ will be given priority, due to cruising grounds
The particulars
Salary range: US$110,400 p/a – negotiable for the right candidate
Leave: 90 days with air fares
Bonus: after 2yrs employment and annual Christmas bonus
Itinerary: Solomon Islands, Fiji, Australia – onward world cruising
Charter and Owner use – share of all gratuities – typically 4 charters per season
Shared Cabin – Male preferred but will consider female
Non smoker only
Qualifications: Must have ENG1 – STCW and relevant culinary qualifications
Training: Attractive training package (outside of leave) with personal input from the owner
Medical and Dental Insurance Cover – Worldwide
The ideal candidate will have previous superyacht experience , a strong restaurant background and have a visa for Aus / Pacific

A highly professional 65m Charter / Private MY is on the search for a rotational head chef to join their program in the Caribbean
The Chef should have a diverse culinary repertoire that includes a mixture of Mediterranean and South East Asian cuisines
The vessel is currently chartering in the Caribbean and may cross to Europe for the 2026 season
Above all, the chef must be a humble personality, no big ego’s , non-competitive nature with rotating chef, no nonsense or high maintenance, thoroughly enjoys what they do and working with excellent, like-minded people.
Charter experience would be favourable but not essential, right personality, great food and great with people is the key to this program.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced chef to join a highly professional program with an excellent crew and owner.
The vessel is based in Sydney 9 months / year and typically spends winters away in either the Gold Coast (Yard), Whitsundays or South Pacific Islands.
Over winter the owner often spends time in Europe on his larger superyacht, often coinciding with the Australian vessels yard time on the Gold Coast.
The vessel is a low / moderate use program , averaging 2 trips / month
The chef will be charged to look after both guests and crew and will occasionally cook for the owner at his residence.
The Crew dynamic and owner / chef relationship is excellent and the successful candidate will find themselves in a sought after work environment, offering both lifestyle and progression.
The head chef will have allot of influence over menus and a thorough handover will be given with the outgoing chef.

The vessel is used strictly for private use, typically low guest numbers with the occasional high Pax day event.

Based out of Western Australia the vessel will cruise the WA coast over the next 12 months with the possibility of the odd international trip.
Previous yacht chef experience is essential however the vessel would entertain a sous chef level candidate wishing to move into a sole / head chef position

Position Snapshot
An excellent Sydney based executive chef role has become available working for one of Australia’s iconic families.
The yacht is only used a handful of times each year as the family now reside permanently overseas and fly in on occasion to use the vessel over their stays in Sydney.
The chef will largely cook for crew (6/7 crew) during the week + drop off meals a few times / week for a family member who is still residing in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
When guests are not onboard the role will be Monday to Friday
When guests are onboard there is no expense spared on using only the finest of produce.
With the owner residing overseas guest trips are usually known months in advance, so the crew have very little standby time.
The position would suit a superyacht chef or similar looking for a rare land-based role that offers genuine lifestyle balance.
