A well run 38m private MY is on the search for their new chief stewardess to join them on their Australian east coast itinerary.

The owner uses the yacht intermittently and fly’s in / out to the various locations it finds itself in.

The guests enjoy being active on the water, fishing / spearfishing & freediving, in addition to dinners onboard and small parties/functions

The crew are fun, active, and adventurous and the team dynamic is extremely important onboard.

The chief stewardess should have a lust for travel and adventure and enjoy life on a travelling vessel

Managing a 2nd stewardess / deck and leading by example to provide an excellent level of service to the owner and guests.

The vessel may look at becoming commercial in the future and offering high end / low guest number charters within Australia & the Pacific

2023 itinerary will be Whitsundays until October / November, Gold Coast, Sydney summer 2023/24

Incorporating a full ISM, the yachts keeps up to date with the likes of crew training, upskilling, courses for crew & regular drills

Commitment, professionalism, work ethic and possessing the right attitude is as important as experience.

For this reason, the yacht is open to expressions of interest from the enthusiastic mid-level stewardess to the experienced 2nd / chief who has come off larger yachts overseas.

Itinerary

Program will involve both short and extended trips around the Sydney Harbour and Pittwater regions. The yacht will occasionally travell further afield 1-2 times per year with the possibility of Whitsundays, Fiji, New Caledonia, Pacific region.

Candidates should be ok with doing roughly 2-3 months away in 2023 in the Whitsundays

The yacht will also consider applicants worldwide who are interested in relocating to Sydney

The Successful Candidate

• stewardess experience on yachts, between 1-5 years + (open to all levels)

• High standard of service and attention to detail

• Impeccable self-presentation

• STCW 95 and seafarer medical

• Excellent Longevity with proven track record in previous roles.

• Great communication skills, able to take direction & work within a small team.

• Full work rights for Australia or New Zealand

Salary: Above industry standard, depending on experience and paid in Australian dollars + Superannuation (discussed on application)

Conditions– Live ashore role (when not cruising) However the new 2nd stewardess can live onboard in Sydney until the vessel arrives back from Whitsundays, likely in October. Replacing the chief stewardess of 5 years onboard the incoming chief stewardess should be looking to offer a firm commitment to the world travelling program.

Position Summary

The House Manager will ensure the smooth day to day operation for a very high-profile Perth based family home, from both a staff and family perspective.

Your Responsibilities

 • Be the key point of interaction for the family, visitors and staff.

• Providing personal support to the family on a daily basis.

• Implementing management plans by working directly with Principals ensuring seamless operation of the primary residence and other assets.

• Implement rosters, schedules, worklists, systems and procedures to support the level of service and presentation, consistent with the Families expectations.

• Ensure sufficient resourcing for the working staff to be effective in their roles.

• Coordinate events on site as they arise, utilising the wider companies team resources.

• Ensure the staff understand and maintain a high level of security for the property.

• Sensible approach to security needs and an awareness of their key role in ensuring the family and assets are safe.

• Adaptation and flexibility to continuously changing priorities.

• Ensuring the highest level of confidentiality is adhered to at all times.

• Oversite of multiple properties (including booking services, purchasing, housekeeping and maintenance), travelling to each one to maintain oversight as necessary.

• Ad-hoc projects such as but not limited to the fit out/furnishing of private assets.

Qualifications

• General hospitality or service background, with an understanding of asset management, front of house service, culinary exposure, housekeeping, laundry, and events.

• Superyacht / Hospitality Management or similar certification preferred.

• Leadership experience of high performing teams ideal.

People Management

• Lead the on-site team (4-6 residence staff) in their daily activities, providing direction and support as needed.

• Liaise with the wider Company team as necessary, around events, coordination of family movements and necessary support for the home operation and upkeep.

• Ability to direct, monitor and hold contractors and visiting team members to account for works around the home.

An exiting opportunity has become available for an Australian / NZ stewardess to be apart of a new build program, launching in Europe Mid 2023

The vessel is one of many yachts within the owner’s umbrella and the chief stewardess should be interested in working in conjunction with other programs (discussed on application)  

After launch the vessel will undertake its maiden season in Europe before being shipped out to Australia for the summer season in Sydney.

The vessel will be based in Sydney with charters up and down the east coast.

The chief stewardess will join in Europe Mid-June to assist with final preparations before sea trials, with the season concluding end of September/ start of October. TBC

Vessel transit from Europe to Australia will roughly be 6 weeks where the chief stewardess will rejoin the program for Sydney summer.

The Chief Stewardess should be fun , active, enjoys a busy yacht environment , wants to work on a premium charter yacht that will host interesting / high profile guests  (with tips)

Can effectively manager a 2nd stew and work with managers to deliver an exceptional level of service to owner & charter guests

A reputable 38m Charter Yacht is on the search for a Chief Stewardess to join their team in the new year

Work hard and reap the benefits, the yacht will be doing a repeat French Polynesia charter season where the crew banked big $$ tips last year (even split)

The Chief Stewardess should be highly professional with previous superyacht Chief Stewardess experience and time on reputable charter yachts

The yacht is couple friendly and will consider a Chief Stewardess partnered with an experienced engineer holding III/3 or Y3

Joining in NZ on the 1st March 2023, the Chief Stewardess will assist with getting the interior ready for the busy charter season ahead,  with the aim to be underway to Tahiti Late March

Must be willing to commit to 12 months onboard
