The vessel will be based in Pittwater over this time.


The chef should have a diverse culinary range and will be given guidance on owners taste preferences from existing crew onboard

A 40m world wide travelling private MY is on the search for a fun loving , adventurous female chef to join their amazing crew.


Joining in Singapore around the 19th December the yacht will head to Thailand where the vessel will undergo its periodical yard maintenance for roughly a 2 month duration


After which the vessel will travel to Sri Lanka & India and onwards through the Red Sea towards Eastern Europe, onto US and then South America



The Chef will typically cater for low guest numbers, only usually two guests onboard, sometimes bring friends.


The owner always eat at set times and the chef can work towards a firm schedule onboard


The chef will also look after the fulltime crew meals (7 crew in total)


There is an active crew environment onboard, crew who enjoy adventures together in the various locations they find themselves in

The recently launched state of the art new build Sail Catamaran is currently in Japan but will be in Malaysia by mid-December and move on to Thailand. Candidates can meet in either Malaysia or Thailand.

Plans are for the yacht to make its way to the Mediterranean for the spring.


The two owners, husband and wife come and go as they have business to attend to and their home in the Cayman Islands.


All water sports, the owners have plenty of toys on board and enjoy them with the crew.

They have a particular interest in diving and crew with skills in this area will be well received.

Being a New Build the owners are spending quite a bit of time onboard and are thoroughly enjoying their new yacht, annual leave and days off can be discussed with candidates for mutual agreement. Crew often take time to travel with or without the owners, this past weekend crew went for a trip to Tokyo per their request.


All ages and nationalities but we would prefer candidates with passports from easy to obtain visa countries. Current nationalities on the boat are; New Zealand, American, Canadian and Dutch.


The Ideal candidates will be a captain who is coupled with a stew or chef (for cabins) , who has previous SY command experience and interested in a long-term travelling program

Start: Immediate (with some flexibility for right candidates)


Join: Malaysia or Thailand


Captain: $9000 US / month  DOE

Stewardess: $5000-$5500 US / month DOE

Chef: $6000-$6500 US / month DOE

Position Snapshot:

The chef will need to have previous experience and will offer a firm commitment for the summer

The yacht will cruise Pittwater/Sydney habour , watch Sydney to Hobart yacht race , NYE fireworks ect

Private cruising only with small family (2 X Adults, 4 X Children)

The Chef should be able to work between Superyacht & residence on occasion

Attractive day rates with additional $$ for major events , Boxing day/NYE/NYD ect

Accommodation supplied onboard

Food Type: Basic family style, BBQ’s and salads

MYS has several open positions for freelance chefs on Superyachts , starting from the 16th December and going until the end of January.

Some contracts can have Xmas Eve / Day off, others can work straight through.

Yachts range from 35-40m in size

Rates: $600-$700 AUD / day DOE (regular days) , Penalty Rates on NYE/Public Holidays $+++

A high-profile Australian family is on the search for an experienced Chef to join their ‘soon to arrive’ 50m Private MY that will be basing out of Sydney, Australia.


The yacht will be based in Sydney between 10-11 months / year with an occasional trip out to the South Pacific Islands (likely New Caledonia) or the Whitsundays over the winter period.


The seasoned superyacht owners is seeking experienced , responsible superyacht crew who have a high standard of professionalism and are serious about progressing their career.


The captain is hoping for an experienced Chef with a diverse culinary repertoire, who has had time working as a chef on Superyachts, can cook a mixture of fine dining and family style sit down food while also catering canapé style for larger day functions

Generally the chef will be cooking for very low guest numbers and roughly 7 fulltime crew


The yacht will be used for private use only and will remain foreign flagged


The Chef should be culinary trained with time on Superyachts or with an exceptional restaurant background


The yacht is open to candidates worldwide and has the ability to sponsor if foreign, however candidates with work rights in Australia / NZ would be highly considered


The vessel can accommodate crew who wish to live onboard or ashore , and must contribute to the weekly watch roster onboard.

Largely a 5-day working week with some flexibility around guest activity

Salary: $110,000-$140,000 AUD + Super (Pending Ticket/Experience), standard Australian leave entitlements

An exciting opportunity has become available for a captain and stew or chef team to join a 32m expedition vessel currently located in NZ.

The yacht will be run with 4 fulltime crew, 2 X couples for a very lovely NZ owner.

The yacht will be NZ based until Mid-April/May 2024 before loading onto cargo ship bound for Palma , Spain.

The owner wishes to be in Spain for the Upcoming Americas Cup , followed by some relaxed Mediterranean cruising and a potential yard period

After which the vessel will return to NZ where itinerary will be confirmed.

Excellent and thorough handover will be given to the incoming team.

The vessel is used for private trips only with the owner’s family, more relaxed dinner style than heavy watersports program

The Captain position is only open to couples , with either a chef , stew or stew/deck
