An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced chef to join a highly professional program with an excellent crew and owner.
The vessel is based in Sydney 9 months / year and typically spends winters away in either the Gold Coast (Yard), Whitsundays or South Pacific Islands.
Over winter the owner often spends time in Europe on his larger superyacht, often coinciding with the Australian vessels yard time on the Gold Coast.
The vessel is a low / moderate use program, averaging 2 trips / month
The chef will be charged with looking after both guests and crew and will occasionally cook for the owner at his residence.
The Crew dynamic and owner / chef relationship is excellent and the successful candidate will find themselves in a sought-after work environment, offering both lifestyle and progression.
The head chef will have a lot of influence over menus and a thorough handover will be given with the outgoing chef.

Salary: $12,000-$13,000 AUD / Month TRP, 4 weeks annual leave
Conditions: Live onboard or ashore
Work week: based on 5 day working week, around guest activity

MYS Superyacht Crew is on the search for an experienced Chef to join a private 40m MY for a well-established Australian Family
The yacht is used for private family use only but will undertake the occasional corporate cruise in Sydney harbour.
Trips will consist of short cruises around the Harbour and Pittwater regions (when in Sydney) and cruising around the Whitsundays in winter, typically catering for no more than 6-8 guests at a time.
During the corporate cruises (Mostly in December) the chef will be required to prepare finger food and canapés for larger guest numbers.
The yacht is family friendly and the chef must enjoy a casual interaction with guests and children
The owners are definite foodies, and the chef should enjoy occasional fine dining and sourcing only the best produce
Crew live an active lifestyle , surfing , diving, kite surfing & fitness … someone active and into healthy living should fit the crew mold
As the yacht is based permanently in Sydney the chef will have the option to live on or off the yacht, open to both
Vessel based in the heart of the city within walking distance to everything
5 day working week but will include some weekend work , days in lieu given for anything additional

A high profile 50m private / charter MY is on the search for an experienced superyacht chef to join them on their South Pacific Island charter program.
The head/ sole chef should have previous superyacht experience on good calibre programs and be able to cater to a diverse charter clientele, taking into account dietary requirements and culinary preference sheets.
The vessel is based in the South Pacific Islands and will travel to various locations pending charters, with focus on French Polynesia region
Ability to provision in remote locations and accurately is highly desired
