A professionally run 32m expedition motor yacht (private) is on the look out for a professional first mate to join their team.

The Captain is one of the best you’ll find, who will invest time in mentoring and allow for skill progression, shadowing some of his responsibilities.

The vessel is currently located in Europe, finishing up the tail end of a yard time, gearing up for its final Med season before heading out to be based in Auckland, NZ.

The vessel is open to arranging visas for foreign candidates as they run a mix nationality crew and could suit if a kiwi/Aus looking for a Mediterranean adventure before being based in NZ or a foreign 1^st mate looking to experience the South Pacific.

The Ideal Candidate

Master 200gt or higher or Aus/NZ equiv
Previous 1^st mate or senior deck time.
Looking to build skills on bridge
Solid tender driving skills
Water sports skills
Can learn the vessels management software
Looking for a travelling program
STCW

Start: When found

Salary: 5000€ – 6000€ / month DOE (pending ticket / experience)

Bonus: 13^th month bonus
