A well run 34m private MY is on the search for a lead deckhand to join their team.
The yacht is used for private trips only , usually for small guests numbers, mostly odd weekend trips.
The vessel operates a 12m chase tender that the deckhand will be responsible for driving.
The deckhand must have good small vessel handling skills and be across deck maintenance products and vessel upkeep.
The vessel can accommodate male or female deckhand candidates and would also be open to an experienced deck/stew looking for more time on deck
Ability to undergo daywork as a trial before committing to fulltime / permanent.
Will also consider a fulltime seasonal contract , starting now and going through until March 2025 (if the deckhand is looking to head to Europe)
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous yacht experience
- Can drive a tender 12m in length
- NSW recreational boat license (or can obtain)
- Hands on yacht maintenance experience
- Own accommodation ashore in Sydney
- Full work rights in Australia
- Interested in progressing tickets and also open to engineering
