MYS is on the search for a superyacht captain for a recently launched new build, operating on the East Coast of Australia (Sydney home port)

The yacht will be getting into commercial AMSA survey therefore will require an AMSA master 4 or commercial/STCW 500gt captain’s ticket.

The yacht will largely be used for private use with the owner and friends, and whilst available for charter will not be the focus of the vessel.

The owner is one of the best you’ll find, owner of multiple yachts, highly personable and very healthy operating budget.

The captain will work closely with management to ensure an excellent experience onboard for the owner and his guests.

Previous superyacht experience is essential and a crew management style that can create a fun and professional atmosphere onboard.

A high profile 46m private MY is currently looking for a mature Lead stewardess to join their yacht in Indonesia on a permanent contract.

The yacht is run with an experienced crew of 9 and maintains a permanent base on a remote island group , north of Jakarta

The Lead stewardess will work alongside a multinational crew (Australians, UK & Asian) working in conjunction with another Australian stewardess in both service and housekeeping.

The yacht will occasionally have guests on board for one or two days on the weekend, occasionally do longer trips to Lombok and Komodo.

Yard times either in Singapore or Langkawi , Malaysia

As the yacht spends allot of time located in a remote island of Indo, the stewardess should be fine with remote island living.

The stewardess is put up in a ocean front villa when not cruising

The crew will have use of facilities on the island and large swimming pool, as well as the local islands to explore when no guests are onboard, lots of BBQ & volley ball games.

As the program is low use, it could suit a senior stewardess looking for a low intensity role, with opportunity to study online in the evenings or escape for the odd weekend in other exotic locations

The right candidate needs to be comfortable in an isolated location, and capable, to come up with solutions.

A stewardess who likes to be active on the water outside of working hours would be perfect.

Are you an experienced stewardess interested in a seasonal / freelance contract in the beautiful Whitsundays?

A lovely (family friendly) private MY is on the search for a seasonal stewardess for their annual trip to the Whitsundays.

The yacht is only run with 2 crew , captain & stewardess so the stewardess will need be happy to work within a small crew dynamic and be happy to help out everywhere (including deck & galley)

The stewardess will have her own cabin (with toilet & shower) and will work closely with the young / professional captain to create an unforgettable experience for the owner and guests.

Previous seasonal stews were placed by MYS with excellent feedback for their time onboard, (thoroughly enjoying the contract, which is important given the small crew environment)

The captain is hoping for some kind of cooking experience or willing to cook / prepare pre- made meals when needed, however the captain will also assist in galley and with service

The owners are hands on and like to cook the BBQ.

Turnaround times between trips is 2 days and the stewardess will largely be working the entire contract period with scattered days off for rest/ down time (hence being paid on a day rate)

The vessel will be used for day trips and overnights around the Whitsunday Islands.

Starting from the Gold Coast, island hopping to the Whitsundays, berthed in Hamilton Island for September and berthed at the Coral Sea for October.



Duties include

– Usual Stewardess duties

– occasional cooking and meal preparation. (premade meals)

– cleaning / cabin turn overs

The yacht largely cruises around the Ionian Islands in Greece, with a base out of Corfu.

The vessel will undertake short 8-10 day trips around the islands with decent breaks between guest trips.

Working as part of a 2 X stewardess team the chief stewardess will lead the interior across service & housekeeping , and can occasionally assist out on deck when required.

The yacht is owned by an exceptional superyacht owner (multiple vessels) and is used strictly for private use only.

The vessel is largely based in Sydney (9 months) and would suit a chief stewardess wanting to experience life in this beautiful city.

The yacht will undergo its yard time in the Gold Coast and may cruise the Whitsundays for a short guest trip.

There is also the possibility for an annual Pacific Island trip to New Caledonia

The vessel preference would be for the chief stewardess to live onboard , however would also be open to live ashore in Sydney , permitting watches are covered.

The chief stewardess will manage / lead an experienced 2nd stewardess (fulltime), and 3rd stewardess (casually) for busier guest trips.
