Are you a stewardess/housekeeper interested in working in a remote Rural Homestead in Western Australia?

 

  • Located in Onslow, WA
  • Position maintains and cares for the homestead, guest suits and staff village including housekeeping and cleaning duties, and assisting with hosting guests and events as required.
  • Monday – Friday roster, occasional evenings / weekends may be required.
  • TFR (base + super) approx. $70k-$75k. Accommodation and meals provided, as well as flights for the right candidate.

 

About the Role

A Permanent, Full-Time role for an experienced Domestic Support / Housekeeper who can ensure the Homestead, Guest suites and staff village are maintained and cared for at the very highest level with the utmost discretion. Meal service and accommodation will be provided to the residential family, and their guests, when in residence, ensuring a luxurious and relaxed experience is delivered.

The successful candidate will live and work on a working cattle station in the Pilbara, Western Australia, working around the homestead and guest suites.

Accommodation, Meals and Flights provided for the right candidate.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, dusting, and polishing.
  • Prepare and serve light meals and refreshments.
  • Assist with hosting guests and events as required.
  • Ensure all areas of the residence are cared for, maintained and inspected with high attention to detail.
  • Report any damages or areas needing special attention.
  • Monitor household supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Have an awareness of correct use of cleaning products.
  • Adhere to health and safety practices relevant to private residence.
  • Communicate with residents and guests, always representing the family professionally.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by the residents and guests from time to time.

 

About You

  • Completion of High School education
  • Hospitality experience (desired but not essential)
  • Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
  • Food preparation ability helpful
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a close knit team.
  • Motivated, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve success.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends, public holidays and evenings as required.
