Position Snapshot
- Gold Coast based (live onboard or ashore)

- Gold Coast, Whitsundays (winter) with some international travel
This low use and low guest number program is on the search for an experienced yacht chef to join their professional team.
The owner has a fine palette, is diabetic and enjoys healthy meals with a traditional touch.
Ideally a chef that can prepare Indian, English, Chinese, Japanese, Seafood dishes.
Mostly the chef will be cooking for low-guest numbers but must have the capabilities to cater meals for 15 + guests at one time with preferably large-scale events and catering experience (only on occasion)
The chef must also prioritise providing tasty crew meals and ensure the fridge is well stocked for weekends.
The yacht maintains a Gold Coast base and is about to embark on a short Whitsundays season
Opportunity to sponsor the right foreign chef but would prefer local candidates in Australia / NZ
The Ideal Candidate
- Chef experience on superyachts
- Diverse culinary skills
- Can cater dietary requirements
- Can provision accurately
- Maintain clean workstations
- Will look after crew’s hungry bellies
- Enjoys a fun team environment
- Will offer a firm commitment (fulltime)
- STCW, drivers’ license and valid passport
