A high profile 40m charter/private MY is on the search for an experienced 2nd stewardess to join their Australian based program.
The vessel is used for a mixture of charters and private use and maintains a home base in Sydney, travelling to the Whitsundays in winter (TBC)
The vessel is low to moderate use and while there is a relaxed atmosphere onboard the 2nd stewardess should bring a strong work ethic.
The 2nd stewardess will work across both service and housekeeping and should have a high level of professionalism and presentation.
The yacht is open to someone temp for a month in early January but ideally would like someone using the contract as a trial for the permanent position onboard.
The position can be live onboard or ashore.
The Ideal Candidate
- 1-2 seasons experience onboard superyachts
- Preferably some superyacht time in Europe
- High level of service
- Strong hospitality background
- Can learn under an experienced chief stew
- Can contribute to a fun and active team environment
- Enjoys guest interaction
- Can relate well to diverse charter guests
- Will offer a firm commitment to the program
- STCW & Seafarer medical
- Full working rights for Australia
