A high profile 40m charter / private MY is on the search for a deckhand with solid tender driving skills to join their watersports style charter program in QLD
The deckhand will work under an experienced 1st officer and take charge of a brand new chase tender , plenty of commercial drive time on offer.
The vessel is home to all the latest water sports toys and the deckhand will learn how to use them so they can instruct guests in a safe manner.
The position is live on board and prior yacht or strong commercial tourism experience is necessary
Open to both male & female candidates but must have work rights for Australia
The Ideal Candidate
- Coxswain COC or higher
- STCW
- Can obtain a seafarer medical
- Excellent tender driving skills
- Confident swimmer
- Looking for drive & seatime
- Can learn bridge watch / passage planning
- Positive team player
- Work rights for Australia
Start: 2-3 weeks (or sooner)
