- Progression to Chase boat Captain / Mate (after training)
A well run 33m private MY is on the search for a deckhand based in Sydney to join their team on a fulltime basis
The yacht is used for private trips only, mixture of overnight and day excursions
There is plenty of opportunity within this position to:
- Learn to drive chase yacht/tender
- Trained up to become Lead Deck/Mate
- Get exposure to engineering department
Ideally the deckhand will have their own accommodation ashore in Sydney however the vessel may be open to live onboard for out of towners with very good experience.
The Deckhand will be looking for role growth, wanting to progress courses and can support the captain and deck/mate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Deckhand Experience (yachts or commercial)
- Preferably based in Sydney
- Understanding of deck maintenance products
- Interested in improving their boat driving skills
- Very hands on
- An interest in engineering
- Reliable / will offer commitment

Salary: $75,000 + Super DOE
