An excellent opportunity has become available on an immaculate 90’ New Build MY that will maintain a permanent berth in Sydney
The vessel will be used for mostly private trips with the occasional charter (charter will not be the focus)
The owner lives interstate and will occasionally fly up to use the vessel with his wife or guests (with notice)
Based in the City Centre (Sydney) the vessel may also travel down to Melbourne over summer and as far as the Whitsundays in the winter.
The Deck/Mate will work closely with the captain (who is happy to invest in training) and will maintain the vessel to its current immaculate condition.
The Ideal Candidate
- Sydney based with accommodation ashore
- Deckhand experience on yachts or commercial
- Can learn to drive the tender
- Coxswain (highly advantageous)
- Looking to build commercial seatime & further tickets
- Understanding / experience with yacht detailing products (wax/buff/polish)
- Can learn Bridge operations / watchkeeping
- High level of professionalism
- Working rights in Australia
