A lovely, down to earth family are on the search for a House Manager to join their private residence in Melbourne
The role will be very hands on and will encompass a range of responsibilities including
- Service for private family functions
- Assisting with basic event organising
- Housekeeping, tidying , laundry
- Directing cleaning contractors for weekly deep clean schedule
- Assisting with Children, Drops offs / pick ups
- Shopping, errands
- Restocking and stores
- Looking after Pets
- Assume some PA responsibilities in late 2021 (when principle goes back to work)
The residence also employs 2 x Cleaners that come once a week for a deep house clean, however light cleaning duties are required – Beds, laundry washing, kitchen clean-ups, general tidying ect
The hours will be very accommodating with a basic structure of Monday – Friday, with additional hours by mutual agreement / availability
The position would suit a former yacht stewardess who is interested in transitioning to a shore-based position in Melbourne
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous stewardess or residence experience
- Genuinely enjoys engaging with children
- Excellent eye for detail
- Sound knowledge of interior detailing products
- Self-motivated and can work well unassisted
- Personable and easy-going nature
- Own accommodation in Melbourne (or able to acquire)
- Clean drivers’ licence
- Work rights for Australia
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday
Start: January 2021
Salary- Excellent Hourly Rate $$$ or Salary, to be discussed on Experience
