Are you interested in cruising the South Pacific with lovely owners and crew?
Join this family orientated private vessel as it cruises the South Pacific over the next 3 months including Fiji and Tahiti.
Joining a fulltime crew of 7 the chef will be responsible for catering for both crew & owners. The US owners enjoy a variety of simple, fresh & healthy cuisines but also enjoy the odd BBQ and burger.
After the South Pacific the yacht will head to the states for a 3 month yard period.
During which time the chef will not be required and will be given the time off as unpaid leave with the option of re-joining for the tail end of the Caribbean season
The ideal candidate will
- Be culinary trained
- Have head/solo chef experience on either superyachts 40m+ or in well-established restaurants
- Clean driver’s license
- STCW 95
- Open minded, positive attitude with a good sense of adventure.
- Proven longevity in previous roles.
- Specialise in simple food tastes
The yacht will be spending most of 2016 in the Pacific and would prefer to interview candidates already located here or in New Zealand.
Salary: $6000-$8000 US dollars / month DOE + standard MLC entitlements
