A 200’ conversion yacht is on the search for an enthusiastic Australian or Kiwi deckhand who is keen to get off the beaten track.
The yacht is home to the usual toys of pleasure, including some big tenders, dive gear, wakeboards, towing inflatables, chopper?
The deckhand must be confident behind the wheel and keen to assist in all level of deck operations, including craft launch and retrieval, anchoring, lines & bridge watches.
The deckhand will join for the final month of the yard period before gearing up for some summer cruising down under.
The yacht incorporates big boat practices and the deckhand will receive the ongoing training associated with high end superyachts and full ISM compliant vessels.
The deckhand should be near or looking to complete the master 200 tonnes within the next 12 months and is serious about a long-term career within the superyacht industry.
Working within a deck team of 5, the successful candidate will lead by example and enjoy working within a small team environment, keen to make the job fun and enjoyable, hold a good sense of humour and a high level of professionalism.
- STCW & seafarer medical
- All round waterman/women
- Can handle a tender (in most weather conditions)
- Power Boat level 2 or Coxswains minimum (200 tonnes a big advantage)
- Wants sea miles and something busy
- Enjoys the small team banter
- Australian / New Zealand passport holders only
